Frequently asked Questions
General Questions
It does not. We have a proper Terms and Conditions section that every customer agrees to when booking an appointment. It’s about a 10-minute read, and we highly recommend reading it.
It’s just that, that we are mobile and come to your location to clean your car. Welcome to the future!
Not at all! That’s included in the price you see. However we do have service areas. In general, if you’re address is in the Norman, Moore, Oklahoma City, or Edmond area, we will service your vehicle! Addresses outside of those cities or on the extreme outskirts can see a small extra fee.
Sedan – Anything smaller than an SUV, most people would typically define this as a “car.” If you have anything from a two-door Porsche to a four-door Ford Focus, this is the vehicle size for you!
Small SUV/Truck – Any SUV with only 2 rows of seating or a truck with a similar size to a Ford Ranger.
Large SUV/Truck/Van – Any SUV with UP TO 3 rows of seating (including vans). Larger cargo vans or passenger vans are not included in this category and will require a custom quote. Also any truck with UP TO a 2500 towing capacity. Trucks with higher than usual lifts and/or tires can see an up-charge.
Yes. 100%.
A drive through wash, even if brush-less, is a machine. It can only do the programmed response and it might not get everything you have your eye on. If it’s not brush-less, it can scratch your paint and dent your rims. On top of that, their fine print says they’re not financially responsible for those damages.
With a hand wash, we ask you upfront what you’re worried about and can tailor our services a bit to you. Your car is only touched with soap and a freshly cleaned microfiber wash mitt. This greatly reduces the chances of any scratches or damages to your vehicle.
You pay for the full detail and any add-on services when you book your appointment. This just helps things run a bit smoother once we get out to your location, no one has to worry about change, cash, or checks and we can just focus on detailing your car!
Nope! We have everything we need in our fancy van. The only things you do need to do is remove all your personal items and hand us the keys. That’s pretty much it.
For sure! That’s what our Constant Clean program is all about. You can sign up at no commitment and cancel at any time, or if you’re willing to commit to either 6 or 12 months, you can get a full detail on your first month for free! As of right now we can do a rotating schedule of once a week, bi-weekly, or once a month. Unfortunately our system doesn’t let us do bi-monthly or quarterly.
“Full Detail” is kind of like “Full Insurance Coverage,” it means different things to different people and is ripe for misunderstandings. We want to be as clear as possible so everyone is on the same page. Take a look at our packages page and you can see line for line what is included in each package and decide which one best fits your needs. REMEMBER! Due to age, stains, and the variety of conditions people keep their car in, we cannot guarantee any specific results.
We will absolutely do our best, but we cannot guarantee that for any amount of money. Unfortunately there are things that are just beyond our control. We have the best opportunity to get stains and dirt out of and off your vehicle, but due to the materials of the car or how long stains have set in, it can be very difficult/next to impossible.
You can always reach out or even text us pictures if you’re worried about what will come out or won’t. We’ll always shoot you straight because it’s a bad day for both of us when we have to charge you for a detail that wasn’t what you expected.
We do offer volume discounts, but they start at 4 or more vehicles that are scheduled in the same location in the same day. If that happens to be your situation, just give us a shout!
That is the easiest and quickest way. Our time slots are only enough time to detail one car, so when you’re booking your first vehicle check the available appointment times to find two that are back-to-back and immediately book your second car after your first.
Maybe! We’ve detailed a lot of different things, from wheel chairs to tractors, just drop us a line and we’ll get it figured out.
We like your style, but unfortunately no. We’re set up to only be mobile and don’t really have the space at our shop.
No. This is really an insurance issue and anyone that says they will should be questioned a bit further to make sure they’re covered.
We don’t want to do anything that would potentially cause you or your car harm. Hypothetically, if we take your seats out, clean under them, and then reinstall them incorrectly, you could get in an accident and have more serious injuries than if we hadn’t. It’s just too big of a liability and our insurance doesn’t cover it.
It’s a little bit of both. Our packages and prices are based on completing the service in a set amount of time. Due to the nature of every car being different, the price you see reflects how long it takes us to complete those services for the average vehicle in average condition. Factors in your vehicle that require us to spend more time to complete that service can result in an upcharge. Also, as a disclaimer, we will do everything that’s included in our packages, but it might not be the same way you or another detail company does it, or to the same intensity. If we have extra time at the end of your appointment and you want us to spend extra time on certain areas that are above and beyond the package and our time, we gladly will, but there can be an up-charge for that extra service.
Your Appointment
When we come to your location we only have access to the environment you provide. For instance, you might want to think twice about having the exterior detailed at the same time you’re having your lawn mowed. Also be sure there is enough space to have your car detailed, we need to be able to open your doors and maneuver around it. Due to insurance and liability reasons, we WILL NOT detail your car in the street, it must be parked off public roads.
In the main navigation bar up top, towards the right, you’ll see a link that says “Login.” Just click that and it will take you to your login page. If you don’t have an account you can either set one up from there or use the link in your original email confirmation.
When you book your appointment you will select a time slot for our arrival, such as 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. This means that we will be at your location sometime within that hour. That DOES NOT mean that your detail will start at 8:00 a.m. and be finished by 9:00 a.m. Please plan accordingly and feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions on how long your detail will take.
Yes. The price listed for our packages is good for about 90% of our customers. Most people will pay the price they book for. However, there are a few things that can result in an up-charge, such as an extra-dirty vehicle, excessive pet hair, or if we have to remove your personal items. If the charge is more than $15 extra, we will communicate with you to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Yes! When you initially book your appointment you will get an email confirmation outlining every detail. It’s important to make sure all that information is correct and let us know immediately if it is not.
From there you will get two reminders, both come in email and text message form. You will get one reminder three days prior to your appointment and one reminder the day before your appointment.
We have a strict 48-hour reschedule policy. At 8:00 a.m. two days before your scheduled appointment it is locked in and we do not allow any changes. This is because we are reserving a time specifically for you and planning to drive to your location. We are human beings with lives and families and dogs and we rely on the income we make from detailing. If you reserve 2 hours of our time and then want to cancel at the last minute, we can have a hard time re-filling that spot.
Unfortunately we do not offer any refunds on already booked and scheduled appointments. If you wish to cancel an appointment entirely, even with more than 48-hours notice, your payment will be converted to a gift card for later use.
You don’t have to be there, but you have to let us know beforehand that you will not be there. If it’s your first time using us, we prefer it, but it’s not necessary if we’ve spoken and worked out the details. You can let us know in the notes section when you book your appointment and we’ll shoot you a call.
It is important to note though, if you’re not available to do the final walk around with us after we detail your car, we cannot offer any refunds or make-up appointments. We reserve 10-15 minutes at the end of every detail to touch up any spots we might have missed and if you’re not present to look over the car we cannot drive back out to you once you see it.
When you book your appointment you’ll see that we do arrival windows. Meaning that we will be at your location somewhere within that hour. An 8:00 – 9:00 window does not guarantee we’ll be knocking on your door at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Once we arrive we will knock on the door or follow any instructions laid out when booking. If we are unable to reach you or you are not there it will be deemed a missed appointment and YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF YOUR SCHEDULED DETAIL.
NOTE: Just because there is a vehicle of the same make and model in the drive way as in your booking does not mean we will assume that’s the car to detail and start detailing it if you’re not there. We have to speak to you once we arrive and you have to acknowledge that is the car unless we have worked it out prior.
It’s Oklahoma, we know all too well how crazy the weather can be! If it is not actively raining, snowing, or tornado-ing we will still continue to run. If there is anything preventing us from detailing your car, we will reach out and reschedule with you.
However, everyone’s different and many of our customers want their car cleaned no matter what’s happening outside. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t want their car detailed when it’s cloudy outside or if there’s a chance of rain later in the week, please keep an eye out and adjust your appointment accordingly.
That’s completely up to you! There is the option when you’re signing off on your vehicle, but genuinely you should never feel obligated to. Everyone that works for Chase Detailing is paid a full living wage and no one “works for tips.”
It happens. I’m the first to say we are only human and by no means are we immune to making mistakes. When we’re done detailing your vehicle, we’ll do a final walk around with you to make sure we didn’t miss any spots and that you’re happy with it. If you see something that should be included in your package but wasn’t, just communicate and let us know. We’ll fix it right there. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Detailing Services
Think of our car washes as more of a maintenance, or touch-up cleanings. Yes, they are great packages and an even better value, but it’s meant to hit the main spots quickly. A detail is more thorough, getting in the cracks and crevices.
In short, length of protection and overall quality.
The Paint Protective Wax is great for your daily driver that you’re just wanting to get some basic protection on. It’s miles ahead of the spray-on wax that you get in a drive through wash, but it’s not the end-all-be-all of waxes and will last about a month.
Our Carnauba Hand Wax is what most people think of when they want their car “waxed.” It’s applied by hand on every panel of the car and provides about 3-4 months of protection depending on how you store/park your car. It makes washing you car even easier as dirt doesn’t stick to a waxed vehicle like it does if it’s unwaxed. It also helps against UV protection and clear coat failure.
The Ceramic Hyper Wax is synthetic blend that can last up to 12 full months. It has the same properties as carnauba wax, but it lasts much longer, meaning you only have to get your car waxed once a year.
You’ll see those terms in the Wax & Vac, Interior Wash, Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3.
Dusted means there is minimal surface dirt. We will run a towel over everything to make sure there isn’t any dust build up, but it is not meant for any significant build up of crumbs, food, or dirt.
Cleaned means there is some light surface dirt in addition to dust, but it will still come up with a cloth, cleaner, and some light brushing. This is for your daily driver that has average use, been eaten in, and just needs to be cleaned.
Scrubbed is a bit more intense cleaning, this allows for some areas that need some heavy cleaning/light steam cleaning.
There are occasions and vehicles that require more work than any of these three will include, which we can do, but it’s important to communicate beforehand if you think your vehicle is that case.
It just means getting under and in-between the seats and crevices.
Yes. There are so many different types of cloth seats and they all react differently. Well, react isn’t the right word. We can shampoo any type of cloth seat, but some cloth seats really hold on to stains more than others.
The biggest trend in cloth seats is a certain material that is made to be sporty and “water-resistant.” However, what actually happened is they made a seat that is hard to remove stains from because it doesn’t want to absorb water. These are mainly found in your budget-friendly Toyotas, Hondas, and Hyundais and some slightly older model F150s.
Does that mean it’s impossible? Not at all. We can usually get most of the stain out and we will most likely have to steam clean it, but it all just depends on how long the stain has sat in and the general condition of the car.
Bugs are a big point of confusion because it’s easy to think all the bugs should come off when you get your car detailed. We promise to always shoot you straight and give you the reasoning behind our answer. We hope this answer is a testament to that.
In short, bugs have a chemical in them called chitin and when a bug smacks on the front of your car that chemical is splattered along with everything else. That chemical can dry fairly quickly, especially in the Oklahoma heat, and at a minimum stain your clear coat. If you have a light colored car and get it off quickly, you probably won’t notice it, but if you have a dark colored car and let it bake in the sun, you can definitely see some staining. If you don’t get it off quickly and let it dry for even a week or two in the summer, let alone months, it’s just going to dry on there. We can do our bug scrub and get a lot of it off, but at a certain point it becomes part of your car.
Pet hair is tricky, we’re sure you know all about it and that’s why you’re calling us. We are very good at getting it out, but it’s important to have realistic expectations. We aim to get 85-90% of pet hair out when we detail a vehicle. There will always be one or two hairs still floating around in there. If you’re getting a vehicle detailed because there was a pet in there that someone is allergic to, please let us know beforehand so we can make arrangements to spend a little extra time on it.
We do not. It’s just too tricky getting into that level of detail while still being mobile. It’s best to take it to a proper shop for that service.

No, it is exactly the same.
By signing up for our Constant Clean program! When you commit to either a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning for either 6 or 12 months, you get a free detail upfront.
The price you see outlined in the Constant Clean program is the “price per visit.” For example, if you chose to do monthly cleanings you will be charged that price once a month, or if you chose bi-weekly, you will be charged that price on a bi-weekly basis.
If you’ve signed up for Constant Clean at either a 6 or 12 month commitment it means you got a free detail up front. If you need to cancel that commitment for any reason, you just have to pay for the free detail. That’s it. No extra cancellation charges or anything like that. We like to keep it simple.
